Kakha Kaladze, Secretary General of Georgian Dream, thinks that it is impossible to cooperate with the opposition in order to fulfill new reservations on the European integration path.
According to him, initially, when the 12-point plan was presented, the government expressed its readiness to cooperate with the opposition, however, the public remembers how these events developed.
"I think it is simply unimaginable, I say this frankly, to cooperate with the opposition in this direction. You remember when the 12-point plan was presented, one of the main themes was reducing polarization, or depolarization. We came out directly and said that we were ready to cooperate with the opposition, although you remember how these events developed - there were insults, obstruction in every way, no cooperation in these reforms, changes, they were running to Brussels so that somehow the country did not get the candidate status. And this was not the first time, it was the same years ago, when visa liberalization was discussed, it was the same with the association agreement. It is sad and unbelievable. These people, the radical opposition, I'm not talking about all of the opposition, I'm talking about the radical opposition, they generally don't care about the country, they don't belong to this country, they don't belong to their families, they have their own boss, they have patrons, they have specific interests, which, of course, contradict the interests of the Georgian people and this country", Kaladze said.
