The court sentenced Lazare Grigoriadis' father, Beka Grigoriadis, to 5-day administrative detention

Lazare Grigoriadis' father, Beka Grigoriadis, was sentenced to 5-day administrative detention by the Tbilisi City Court.

 

The said decision was made by Irina Gogoladze, the judge of the Tbilisi City Court.

 

Along with Beka Grigoriadis, the court recognized his brother, Kakha Grigoriadis, as an offender and imposed a fine of 2500 GEL.

 

Law enforcement officers arrested Beka and Kakha Grigoriadis on October 5, during the rally near the Parliament.

 

Beka Grigoriadis was arrested under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which means disobedience to the legal request of a police officer.

 

Kakha Grigoriadis was arrested under Articles 173 and 166 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which refers to disobedience to the legal request of a police officer and petty hooliganism.
