Son kills his father in Gori municipality

The employees of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, arrested A.I. for premediated murder of a family member under aggravating circumstances.

 

Information about this was disseminated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

 

According to the Ministry, the crime is punishable by up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

 

"The investigation established that the accused fatally wounded his father, U.I. born in 1956, in the head, with a hunting rifle, in one of the villages of the Gori municipality, after which, in order to hide the crime, he took the body to his country house.

 

As a result of the investigative actions conducted, the law enforcement officers arrested the accused. The police seized the weapon of crime - a hunting rifle as evidence," reads the information.
