Salome Zurabishvili called the National Bank's decision a "Russian decision". After these words, what should she say to her Estonian, Latvian or Lithuanian counterparts? - Shalva Papuashvili, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, stated the above regarding the visits of the President to European countries.

According to her, Salome Zurabishvili "can move freely, go to any country and wherever she wants, although she does not represent Georgia, since she does not have a corresponding mandate for such representation".

"Of course, it is disturbing when the President blatantly and publicly violates the constitution, and it happens repeatedly. The President, who should be an example of protection of the constitution and protection of the law, when she demonstratively violates the rules established by the Georgian people, by this, of course, she puts himself outside the constitution. It's sad, this is our sad reality.

What we have been talking about in the last few days was confirmed by the President's position regarding the National Bank, including her latest statement. She called the National Bank's decision a "Russian decision". After these words, what should he say to her Estonian, Latvian or Lithuanian counterparts? If the constitutional body in Georgia - the National Bank, according to her assessment, makes "Russian decisions", how can she lobby for the candidate status? That's what the government was saying and that's why it didn't give consent to the visits," Papuashvili said.

According to him, the ruling team is waiting for the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the impeachment of the President.

"It is interesting what the position of the President will be after the conclusion of the Constitutional Court is that the President has violated the constitution. It is interesting if she calls it a “Russian decision”," Papuashvili said.
