Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan regained its sovereignty as a result of anti-terrorist measures

According to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the country regained its sovereignty as a result of anti-terrorist measures.

 

The mentioned statement was made by the President of Azerbaijan in an address to the population.

 

Ilham Aliyev noted that the Azerbaijani military showed great heroism, courage and professionalism.

 

"In the conditions of difficult terrain, in the presence of fortified places that the enemy has been building for years, despite the location of the enemy's positions on heights and in favorable places, our military has achieved significant military success in all directions in a short period of time. A significant part of the army, which was illegally stationed by Armenia on the Azerbaijani territories and has not been withdrawn to this day, despite the obligations assumed by Armenia, has been completely destroyed. The military equipment has been destroyed and put out of order," Aliyev said.
