Among the countries from which the border of Georgia was crossed the most times, Russia is in the first place, from which entry into the country was recorded 443,624 times, and exit was recorded 427,443 times. Turkey is in second place - 413,127 arrivals; Exit - 406 268. The first six countries, after Russia and Turkey, are Armenia, Israel, Azerbaijan and Ukraine, as well as EU countries.

According to the statistical data on crossing the border by citizens of foreign countries by gender and age, the age category from 31 to 45 years is leading both in the case of men and women.

As for Georgian citizens, 746,734 people left the country in the second quarter of this year, while 732,743 people entered the country in the same period.

The statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also include the dynamics of road traffic.
