Pawel Herczynski: The EU tries to put pressure and isolate Russia and we would expect all our partners, and especially those partners who want to become part of the EU, to follow the same approach

We stand firmly behind Ukraine. And we also try to put pressure and isolate Russia. In our view, this is the only way to make sure that this horrible war ends as quickly as possible and we would expect all our partners, and especially those partners who want to become part of the European Union, to follow the same approach, said the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, Pawel Herczynski.

“As the European Union we have collectively decided to restrict and to limit our contacts with Russia. We want to isolate Russia. You want to put pressure on Russia. We want Russia to pay the price for the outrageous behavior in Ukraine. We see every single day what crimes and what atrocities are committed. We cannot let it go. This is why, as the European Union, we stand firmly behind Ukraine. We support Ukraine in any way we can. And we also try to put pressure and isolate Russia. In our view, this is the only way to make sure that this horrible war ends as quickly as possible and we would expect all our partners, and especially those partners who want to become part of the European Union, to follow the same approach”, said the Ambassador.
