According to the Tbilisi Mayor, Kakha Kaladze, every politician decides for himself with whom and in what form he will unite, however, when it is done in exchange for a certain amount of money, it is the hardest thing to see.
He stated this in response to a question asked by the media regarding the alleged unification of the former president of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, in the National Movement.
According to him, it is a pity that today's opposition is represented by such politicians.
"It's up to each person, with whom, how, in what form to unite, however, when you take money for a certain position, it's a very hard fact, especially when you're a politician. Of course, you can have a different opinion, principles, believe in something, but when you do it for money, it is the hardest. It is sad and very bad that there are such people in today's politics, however, I repeat once again, the society, the population of our country will give an appropriate answer to everyone when the time comes and the need arises", said the Tbilisi Mayor.
According to him, those politicians who are talking about a possible union today are actually members of the same team and are managed by the National Movement.
"I don't know who will unite with whom for the upcoming elections. The name and surnames that you give do not need any union - in fact, they are members of the same team and represent the National Movement. I don't know what morals are in general when you're doing it for money, no matter how much money you're talking about. I don't know what decision will be made and who, how, and in what form will run for the elections, but one thing is clear - these people have one boss, they are governed together and have one backbone", said Kakha Kaladze, whose comments were disseminated by the press service of the City Hall.
