Any reference to a person's orientation is unacceptable to me, Public Defender Levan Ioseliani stated.

With this statement, Ioseliani responded to the statement of the chairman of Georgian Dream, Irakli Kobakhidze, that the young people involved in the incident at TSU "have messed up orientation".

"Any reference to a person's orientation is unacceptable to me, as it is protected by the Constitution and legislation of Georgia," said Levan Ioseliani.

In addition, Ioseliani responded to the protest of the Chiatura miners and called on the government to mediate between the employer and the employees.

"We are always ready to play the role of a mediator in such a process, but here, as far as I know, the problem is between private entities, and we call on the state to do its best in this regard - to mediate between the employer and the employees, so that their conditions are improved and an agreement is reached on specific issues. Within the framework of our mandate, if necessary, we will take part," said Levan Ioseliani.

For information, according to the chairman of Georgian Dream, Irakli Kobakhidze, the incident at Tbilisi State University, when students threw Russian rubles at Kobakhidze when he was coming down the stairs, is a provocation organized by Formula TV. According to Kobakhidze, the young people involved in the incident are affiliated with this TV company, and in this case their student status has nothing to do with it. In addition, according to him, these young people "messed up orientation".

"I think these people should be put on the right track, boys should get wives, girls should get husbands, reproduce, etc. All their orientations, starting from political, should be corrected, this is our task. We will do everything for this, we will do everything to save these young people," said Kobakhidze.
