Now the main task is to ensure that the opposition pro-Western parties do not harm each other and that there is no conflict between the opposition parties, Sergo Chikhladze, one of the leaders of Strategy Builder, told journalists.

 

He assessed the prospects of a possible unification of the opposition for the 2024 elections and noted that there is nothing tragic if there are several powerful opposition centers.

 

"Strat­egy Builder was the first to promote the need for the consolidation of forces. Even since May 2022, we have been promoting this, that the democratic, pro-Western opposition should be consolidated, there should be mobilization of forces, coordination, but there may be several options – there may be one big pro-Western union or several unions in the field of opposition. There is nothing tragic about it if there are several powerful opposition centers.

 

I think the main task now is to consolidate forces. The main task is that the opposition pro-Western parties do not harm each other, there is no conflict between the opposition parties, because the next elections in Georgia will be a big battle between the West and Russia. The parties in the western orbit should strengthen each other.
