Paata Manjgaladze: We need a coalition government, people should know exactly who is coming to power, the opposition should agree on the cabinet

We need a coalition government, people should know exactly who is coming to power, the opposition should agree on the cabinet - the watershed should be Kadyrov's Georgia or European democracy, Paata Manjgaladze, deputy of Strategy Builder, told reporters.

Manjgaladze responded to the statement of the Chairman of the National Movement, Levan Khabeishvili, that the opposition should talk about a coalition with the National Movement. Manjgaladze agrees with the idea, because he thinks that there is no opposition force in Georgia that alone can gain 51 percent support.

"I fully agree with Khabeishvili's statement that we need a coalition government. People should know that security, peace, comfort are connected with the opposition, but this is not enough, people should know exactly who is coming to power. Therefore, it is time for the opposition to discuss this issue and reach an agreement on what type of cabinet it will form in case of victory, we must know who will be the prime minister, the minister of internal affairs, the minister of justice, the prosecutor, we must know everything exactly, so as not to give Georgian Dream the opportunity to spread the Russian legend that revenge will begin in case we come to power. The main factor is where we are taking Georgia, what we are choosing - Kadyrov's path or Europe's path, this will be a watershed. Georgian Dream has been fully exposed for international partners and it should be exposed for all citizens.

If someone in the opposition talks and creates an illusion that they will not cooperate with National Movement, that they will defeat Georgian Dream without a coalition with National Movement, that they alone will take 51 percent, I don't know such an opposition force, such a force does not exist," Manjgaladze said.
