People of Georgia see Europe as their home & we must give them hope, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola writes on Twitter.

 

"It is time to work harder to create right conditions for candidate status & Georgia not to miss this historic opportunity. Thank you President Salome Zurabishvili for your belief in Georgia's European call," Metsola tweeted.

 

For information, President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, held a meeting with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metzola, before her speech in the European Parliament.
