Viola von Cramon: Total independence is not easy at the time when the threats from internally and externally are still pushing Georgia in another direction - we will support you on your path towards Europe

In a time, when the freedom of the Georgian people is threatened from both inside and out, it is vital to show our solidarity. As a long-standing friend of Georgia, I fully support their path to join the EU, - with these words, MEP Viola von Cramon congratulates Georgia on Independence Day.

 

“Congratulations, Georgia, it's your 32nd birthday of independence. As a big friend and a big fan of Georgia, we can only applaud and congratulate. The European Union will stand with you on your path of total independence. It's not easy at the time when the threats from internally and externally are still pushing Georgia in another direction, but you can be sure we, in the European Parliament, will support you on your path towards Europe, to the European Union. Congratulations”, the MEP said.
