There are quite a lot of people in our country, mostly from UNM, pseudo-liberals and those who follow them, who use a Facebook frame where only the flags of Ukraine and the European Union are displayed, but no flag of Georgia - let those from UN­M and pseudo-liberals answer this and not ask speculative questions about what should not be asked at all, this is how the chairman of Georgian Dream Irakli Kobakhidze responds to the criticism of the part of the society and the opposition politicians, that for the event of May 26, the flags of the European Union are not displayed on the Parliament building, as in previous years.

According to him, May 26 is the state independence day, and therefore it is absolutely logical that only state national attributes are used.

"Another anti-state speculation. May 26 is the National Independence Day, the only subject of which is the Georgian state and its independence. Therefore, May 26 is the day that should be built on national symbolism from beginning to end. The only exception was last year, which was related to the fact that we applied for candidate status a month earlier, and that was the only exception. Neither before, during the previous government, nor in the following years, was any other element included in the decoration of this day, because May 26 is the day of only one thing - it is the day of our state independence.

Therefore, it is absolutely logical that only state national attributes are used on this day. On the contrary, I want to remember one thing - There are quite a lot of people in our country, mostly from UN­M, pseudo-liberals and those who follow them, who use a Facebook frame where only the flags of Ukraine and the European Union are displayed, but no flag of Georgia. This is their attitude. These are stateless people. Why is the flag of Georgia not displayed on their frame?
