The delegation of the Parliament of Georgia will participate in the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg

Chairman of Georgian Dream, Irakli Kobakhidze, together with the delegation of the Parliament of Georgia, will participate in the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg on April 24-27. The press service of the Parliament disseminates information about this.

 

Within the framework of the spring session, the chairman of Georgian Dream will meet the rapporteurs of the monitoring committee of the European Council on Georgian issues.

 

Members of the delegation will have working meetings with partners in various committees.

 

The session will be addressed by the European Commissioner for Human Rights.

 

There will be a debate in May at the Council of Europe summit in Reykjavik, which will assess Russia's war in Ukraine and its impact on the European continent.

 

There will also be a debate regarding the implementation of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights of the Council of Europe.

 

The delegation includes the vice-speaker of the Parliament Archil Talakvadze, members of the parliamentary majority, Irakli Chikovani, Khatia Tsilosani, Givi Mikanadze, member of the People's Power, Eka Sefashvili.
