“Georgia has special potential for energy development from renewable sources. It is linked directly to our country’s energy independence, as well as economic and energy security,” stated the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Vice Prime Minister Levan Davitashvili, during the Renewable Energy Projects Conference.

The event sought to inform private companies in the renewable energy sector about collaboration with foreign financial institutions, to promote financing availability, and to tell financial institutions about the latest advancements in Georgian energy.

Levan Davitashvili says one of the top priorities of Georgian economic policy is energy direction.
