According to the chairman of the United National Movement, Levan Khabeishvili, elections will be held in 73 municipalities, cities, and districts across the country, and the voters of the party will elect the chairmen of district and city organizations and members of the political council.
According to him, the door of the National Movement has never been so open.
"During the last month, the National Movement opened 45 new offices in different municipalities and cities. Accordingly, the infrastructure is ready for the promised elections to be held in absolutely all municipalities, I mean cities, districts and the capital. It is about 73 so-called election districts, where elections will be held. Accordingly, the voters of the National Movement will take part in deciding who should be the head of the district city organization in this or that city, and also, every district, city and municipality will have a representative in political council. A working group should be created by April 30. I would like to appeal to all interested persons, people who want to lay even one brick in the fight against Bidzina Ivanishvili, write to the central bureau of the National Movement before April 30 to join the working group or if you have any other initiative.
From April 30, the working group will be tasked with announcing specific dates, developing a rule so voters can elect a representative in all cities, districts, municipalities, and s/he not be appointed by the party chairman, secretariat or political council.
We handed over 73 mandates of members of the political council to the voters of the National Movement, and absolutely all the members, and supporters of the National Movement can participate in the elections as well as in the working group, be represented or have any initiative," Khabeishvili said.
