Due to the lack of quorum at the plenary session of the Parliament, where the creation of a fact-finding commission to study corruption and other violations in the judicial system was discussed, ended without voting.

The majority members did not register for voting, which Irakli Kobakhidze, the leader of the majority, assessed as an "act of solidarity" towards Georgian judges. Only 51 MPs registered at the session.

"We made a decision to refuse registration. This is an act of solidarity towards Georgian judges," Kobakhidze said.

The decision of the majority was followed by noise in the hall.

The creation of a fact-finding commission relating to the judicial system was discussed at the plenary session of the Parliament. As it is known, after the sanctioning of 4 Georgian judges by the Department of State of the United States of America, the parliamentary opposition has been demanding the creation of a fact-finding commission in the legislative body.
