The Parliament of Georgia issued a statement on additional security measures. According to the statement, in accordance with the regulations established by the order N259/3 of the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia of December 30, 2016, "On the security regime in the Palace of the Parliament of Georgia and the surrounding area", a tightened regime of entry into the Parliament building will be in effect on March 24.
According to the press service of the Parliament, the restriction will not apply to the accredited journalists.
"The purpose of the mentioned measure is to protect the safety of Members of Parliament and employees of the office and to ensure working conditions", - the press service said.
