Roman Gotsiridze on MPs’ boycott:  Either come in or go out, I don't understand what kind of behavior it is to stand on the threshold

22.03.23 12:40

If you are in the Parliament, you should be everywhere, you should work on all issues, not selectively, - opposition MP Roman Gotsiridze wrote about this on social network, responding to the boycott announced by the parliamentary opposition.

According to Gotsiridze, in reality this is hypocrisy and an attempt to catch two birds with one stone.

“There are also "semi-boycottists" - "We don't want to be in the Parliament, but we have no other choice, we have to work on the 12 recommendations" - this is roughly how their position sounds.

In fact, this is hypocrisy and an attempt to catch two birds - to win over the boycott-loving public and at the same time to stay in the Parliament under some pretext.

If you are in the Parliament, you should be everywhere, you should work on all issues, not selectively.

Tomorrow is the hearing of the Minister of Finance, the day after that there will be the hearing of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister. Shouldn't the opposition be present at these discussions, since these hearings are not related to 12 points? Either come in or go out, I don't understand what kind of behavior it is to stand on the threshold”, said Gotsiridze.
