"Yes, interesting enough most of the MEPs are from The Progressives (Socialists), Georgian Dream's sister party. But where has Irakli Gharibashvili found the number (100)? This is new to me. He knows more than we. Would be curious to see the source, please," the MEP tweeted.

 

For information, Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said in response to a question about the resolution of the European Parliament that "the European Parliament should take care of itself".

 

"100 MEPs are involved in a corruption scandal. Why are we being brainwashed?! I also heard the statement of one of the MEPs during this unrest, when there was a conflict between the police and the anarchists, the aggressive crowd that threw "Molotov cocktails" and stones at our police, then several MEPs came out and said that now it is necessary to change and overthrow the regime. This is anti-democratic. I don't know who compared it to what.
