09.03.23 10:40

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has addressed the participants of the ongoing protests in Georgia.

Zelensky thanks the Georgian people for coming to the demonstrations with the Ukrainian flag and notes that Georgia should be in the European Union and he is sure that it will be so.

"I want to thank everyone who held Ukrainian flags in the streets of Georgia these days. I want to thank you that our national anthem was heard in the streets of Tbilisi. This is respect for Ukraine and I want to express my sincere respect for Georgia. There is no Ukrainian who does not wish our friend Georgia success - democratic success, success in Europe.

We want to be in the EU and we will be. We want Georgia to be in the European Union, and I am sure it will be. We want Moldova to be in the EU and I am sure it will be. All the free peoples of Europe deserve it.

Glory to all who are now fighting for Ukraine, glory to all who are fighting for their brothers! Glory to Ukraine!", Zelensky said on Main Channel.
