Defense Ministers of Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan hold trilateral meeting

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze met his Turkish and Azerbaijani counterparts as part of the Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia tripartite cooperation format in the Turkish city of Kars.

 

The meeting focused on regional growth and defence cooperation, highlighting the importance of joint military exercises and training, which brings the militaries of the three nations closer and promotes mutual compatibility, Georgia’s Defense Ministry said in a statement.

 

During his Turkey visit, Juansher Burchuladze will attend Winter 2023 military drills, an international training engaging 17 countries, including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, and others.
