As part of a possible agreement to end the Kremlin's war in Ukraine, Russia must also leave the territory of Georgia, the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, said in an interview with Bloomberg.
"Russia should learn where its borders are. Georgia's problems should be on the table, because no one should think that this war can be resolved without Russia leaving all the occupied territories," said Zurabishvili.
According to the President, the restoration of regional order depends on the final defeat of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine, and this moment, in her opinion, is approaching very quickly.
"Russia has practically already lost the battles, if not the whole war," Zurabishvili notes.
Zurabishvili points out that if Russia is not required to withdraw completely within the terms of surrender, "the Western world will make another big mistake - as big as in 2008, 2014".
In addition, she also spoke about Georgia's European integration, according to the President, Georgia not receiving the candidate status will encourage Russia to imagine Georgia as a "grey zone" for its ambitions.
"You should give us the status of a candidate. We are not flawless, I know that there are things that we did not do, but I think that despite all this we should move forward," said Zurabishvili.
Regarding Mikheil Saakashvili, Zurabishvili noted that she is not going to comment on her plans and said that she does not believe that "an individual case determines our European future".
