Three miners, who are on hunger strike in Chiatura mining town, have sewn their mouths shut.
One of the striking miners Gela Badzgaradze told InterPressNews that the miners used the extreme form of protest after the deadline, set for administration, has expired.
“Last night, three minors, have sewn their mouths shut. The administration did not satisfy our demands and therefore, the miners used the extreme form of protest. The suggestion of the “Georgian Manganese” is unacceptable for us. The whole town supports us and we will continue strike,” Gela Badzgaradze said.
