In the case of the death of Megi Bakradze, a nurse of "Akhaltsikhe Clinic of Hope", charges were filed against the doctor of the same clinic

The General Prosecutor's Office of Georgia filed charges against the doctor of the same clinic in the case of the death of Megi Bakradze, a nurse of "Akhaltsikhe Clinic of Hope".

 

According to the prosecutor's explanation, after giving the vaccine against Covid 19, the doctor saw Megi Bakradze in a life-threatening situation, s/he was obliged to provide her with the appropriate treatment immediately, however, for an unjustified reason, the nurse did not provide proper first aid and left the territory of the clinic.

 

The doctor has been charged under the second part of Article 130 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (abandonment of a sick person, which led to the loss of his life), which provides for 3 to 5 years of imprisonment.
