According to the Empathy Center, the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has about 10 diagnoses, which makes his imprisonment incompatible.

"The person has more than 20 diagnoses, of which 10 are the leading diagnoses, which makes imprisonment incompatible. The mentioned diagnoses are not made public at this stage," reads the information released by the center.
According to them, the Empathy Center and the commission of international experts, as a result of the analysis of clinical and para-clinical examination and medical documentation, concluded that before the arrest (01/10/2021), the patient was practically healthy.
“Currently the patient has fever of unknown etiology, anorexia, rapid weight loss, pain in muscles, joints, bones, excoriations - scratches - marks on the body, muscle spasms, which may be an unidentified infectious process and/or results of possible intoxication, since the toxicological examination of the hair sample revealed more Ba, Bi, Mercury (Hg) than the documentation limit. These toxic substances are dangerous because they can cause not only physical, but also sometimes mental disorders," reads the information.
According to the center, timely diagnosis of toxic agents, including chemical compounds and radioactive substances, is necessary, otherwise, given the probability of intoxication, coma and death are expected.
