I respect Zura very much, but I do not understand what it has to do with the National Movement and especially with its chairmanship, said Giorgi Baramidze, a member of the United National Movement.
According to him, all those people who left the National Movement when the party was in trouble, "probably inadvertently served Bidzina Ivanishvili's interest".
"According to this fact, I think it is not appropriate for Zura to get involved in this process.
“Anyone can do whatever he/she wants. No one forbids and cannot forbid anyone from doing anything, but they left the National Movement when Bidzina Ivanishvili's task was to destroy the National Movement. It was simply embarrassing", said Baramidze.
To the journalist's question whether Davit Kezerashvili is behind Zurab Chiaberashvili, Baramidze said that "everything can happen, but naturally, there is no basis for anyone to think so."
"Therefore, we should not be unfair to anyone. Nothing is excluded, but at the moment I don't see any signs of that," said Baramidze.
For information, Zurab Chiaberashvili said that he is thinking of participating in the elections for the chairmanship of the National Movement.
