According to the lawyer of the third President of Georgia, Shalva Khachapuridze, he expects that the alternative examination report of the Samkharauli Forensics Bureau will say that Saakashvili has an adaptive disorder and stress.
As he told journalists before visiting Mikheil Saakashvili, if the Samkharauli Forensics Bureau presents a similar report, they "will face a serious test at the trial".
"I am sure that what the Vivamed doctors say will be repeated by the Samkharauli Forensics Bureau. They will say that he has an adaptive disorder and stress. Their position is going to face a serious test at the trial, I want to warn them at the very beginning," Khachapuridze says.
He also spoke about Saakashvili's health condition and noted that his left hand is atrophied.
"He has been having pains for several months. His left hand is atrophied, he has problems and unbearable pains. They gave him painkillers and now examinations have started. Let's wait for the results," Khachapuridze says.
As for the Vivamed clinic, where Saakashvili is being treated, as the lawyer explains, he is dissatisfied with the clinic and will submit evidence against Vivamed to the court. Shalva Khachapuridze has not elaborated on the violations of the clinic.
In addition, when asked whether it is possible to file a motion with the court regarding the postponement of the sentence by the anniversary of the Rose Revolution, Khachapuridze explained that if it is technically possible, they will do so.
