All embassies in Georgia have been instructed to be in active communication with their partners, - Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani said at a briefing.

 

According to him, the purpose of the arrival of the diplomatic corps in Gugutiantkari today was to deter the illegal activities of the occupation forces on the one hand and to express support to the local population on the other hand.

 

"All embassies in Georgia have been instructed to actively communicate with their partners and provide information on recent developments so that the international community can respond promptly. The arrival of the diplomatic corps in Gugutiantkari today, as well as the statements made by the partners in recent days, was an extremely important step that served to deter the illegal activities of the occupation forces on the one hand, and to express the international community's strong support to the conflict-affected population on the other hand,” Zalkaliani said.
