Shalva Papuashvili and Pawel Herczynski discuss implementation of 12 recommendations of European Union

Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, met with Pawel Herczynski, Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia. According to the press service of the Parliament, the parties discussed the process of implementation of 12 recommendations of the European Union in detail.

 

The opinions and expectations of the European Union regarding the progress made by Georgia in this direction were also discussed.

 

"Shalva Papuashvili noted that the Parliament of Georgia will complete the work on the recommendations according to the pre-devised plan. Shalva Papuashvili and Pawel Herczynski also talked about other issues on the agenda of bilateral relations, among which they emphasized the importance of a high-level visit of the European Commission to Georgia in the near future. The EU ambassador noted that the EU representation will continue to support Georgia in the process of implementing the recommendations," reads the statement released by the press service of the Parliament.
