Paata Manjgaladze: The main test for the Georgian Dream is that the candidate for Ombudsman’s position should not have his/her own opinion and should be able to easily say that black is white

The questions asked by the Georgian Dream serve to reveal whether the candidate belongs to himself/herself or not, because the main test for the Georgian Dream is that the candidate should not have his/her own opinion and should be able to easily say that black is white, Paata Manjgaladze, Strategy Builder MP, said.

Manjgaladze believes that the messages of the Georgian Dream are dangerous.

"The Georgian Dream is not interested in selecting an independent, professional, experienced person for the Ombudsman’s position. They want, and the direction of their questions serves to reveal whether a person belongs to himself or not and has his/her own opinion or not, because the main test for the Georgian Dream is that the candidate should not have his/her own opinion and be able to say that black is white. People are asked about their posts from their childhood. This is done for the purpose of discrediting and is a very dangerous message, because it means that in the future, if someone wants to participate in any type of elections, s/he should refrain from expressing his/her opinion from childhood, because then Guram Macharashvili might not like it," said Manjgaladze.
