This year we can boldly say that we are close to solving the problem of Asian bugs, - Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said at a meeting with farmers at Geo Nats.
According to him, the selling process is successful and farmers will receive a decent income this year.
“Samegrelo has enormous potential, but unfortunately we had a very difficult challenge that continues today too, but we worked together and this year's nut harvest is more than even the most optimistic person could ever imagine. This is the result of our joint efforts. I would like to thank our American friends who showed great support, both financially and technically. We can already boldly say that we are close to solving the problem of Asian bugs. This year is a turning point. I am glad that the selling process is successful. We already know that our farmers will earn a decent income this year,” Bakhtadze said.
