The Second Phase of Rehabilitation of Gudauri View to be Delayed till 2020

The second phase of the rehabilitation of Gudauri View was planned in the year 2019, nevertheless, the project delayed till 2020.

 

As chairman of Kazbegi Mayor, Davit Qirikashvili stated, Municipality of Kazbegi had to change the system of already confirmed budget on the grounds of unforeseen expenses.

 

"We had many infrastructural projects this year and there was not enough money from the local budget in order to elaborate and implement this project. We had more prioritized projects."

 

As Davit Qirikashvili explains, the company, which rehabilitated the first phase of Gudauri View, has already fulfilled contractual terms and finished collaboration with the municipality. Now we are planning to announce a tender in the field of this project.

 

According to the second phase of the project, the place will be filled with the building, which will be a special resting space for tourists. Apart from this, conference and exhibition halls will be built. It is also planned to implement a restaurant.
