Russians and others, as tourists, are in Europe, America and many other countries - I don't remember any statement of any official representative of other countries, saying that someone's right to enter the country should be restricted based on ethnicity, Georgian Dream MP Anri Okhanashvili answered a question about Russian tourists.

 

Okhanashvili drew attention to the law on occupied territories and noted that if someone has violated the said law, appropriate action should be taken, regardless of whether the person is Russian or someone else.

 

"If someone has violated the law on occupied territories, ethnicity does not matter - all those who violate the law should be responded appropriately. Also, all relevant agencies work 24 hours a day for the safety of our citizens. Dividing people on the basis of ethnicity does not fit into any democratic principles.

 

Differentiating between people on the basis of ethnicity is xenophobia, and inciting violence may turn into issues that cause strife, which is also not allowed," said Anri Okhanashvili.
