Bidzina Ivanishvili has been trying to harm us with his Prosecutor's Office for more than 3 years, but he will not succeed, said the leader of Lelo, Mamuka Khazaradze.
As he noted, the system, "which is run by one man," is now being fully exposed.
"I am sure that all the people who take part in the illegal decision, persecution, will receive a decent response not only in terms of sanctions, but also in many other ways. All the people who are involved not only in our case, but in all other cases, be it the Prosecutor's Office or judges, will receive a proper response in accordance with the law," Khazaradze said.
He also touched upon the case of Nika Gvaramia and noted that controlled justice is administered in Georgia.
"The arrest of Nika Gvaramia is a politically motivated decision. I can directly tell the person who ordered all this - Bidzina Ivanishvili, his obedient judges and Prosecutor's Office - they will not succeed, because the truth is the truth and it will always prevail," said Mamuka Khazaradze.
The leader of the Lelo party also responded to the speech of the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili at the event dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia.
"I thik it is time for action instead of statements. Specific steps need to be taken to make the public see that there are institutions that not only make statements, but also bring concrete results through their actions," Mamuka Khazaradze said.
