“The choice of Gharibashvili and the Georgian Dream is Saratov and not Brussels. This can be seen easily and our partners know it as well," opposition politician Gigi Ugulava told PalitraNews TV.

Ugulava also demanded that the ruling team publish the EU membership questionnaire filled out by the Georgian Government.

"Kobakhidze is a liar, Gharibashvili is an even bigger scoundrel. Gharibashvili was forced to fill out this questionnaire and make a statement. He does not want the EU. Although the standards of democracy and freedom are being violated in our country, although our country is already an authoritarian state, we believe that this [Georgian Dream] is a kind of pandemic and plague that our nation must overcome. Georgia deserves to be a candidate, because Georgia has proved for the last 30 years that it is a European country. The Georgian nation has proved that it is a European nation, therefore, despite this plague, which is trying its best to achieve that Georgia is in Putin's swamp, and the Georgian Dream is the biggest obstacle today, we ask our partners to look at it as a temporary dilemma and not to close this road for Georgia in the long run," Ugulava said.

According to him, the Georgian Government should make the questionnaire public.

"Let the questionnaire be made public, this is not a secret document and it cannot be a secret. This cannot be a secret, so, Mr. Irakli, publish the questionnaire. It should be accessed by the public, NGOs, experts. Let's discuss about these specific issues. Let’s organize a public debate. The public will see that you are the herpes organism that does not allow this country to develop. You are stuck between us and the European Union, so the first thing to get rid of is the Georgian Dream," Gigi Ugulava said.
