No matter what claims are made against our country and our leaders, their accusations, stupidity and silliness will not trigger a war in Georgia, Saakashvili has a lot of Podolyaks, what these insignificant people say is irrelevant - they are here today, they won't be here tomorrow, Irakli Zarkua, a member of the parliamentary majority, responds to Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, who said that all Russian oligarchs should be sanctioned, including Ivanishvili.
According to Irakli Zarkua, Podolyak's statements are not interesting for him.
"Mr. Podolyak is an ordinary person who accidentally (came to power in Ukraine), because in its time he was an adviser to Russian policy-maker Yanukovych. The statement of such a person is not interesting. We support Ukraine, we say Russia is an aggressor and occupier, because we experienced that in 2008. Podolyaks and people of similar value can not diminish Georgian-Ukrainian relations, no matter how hard they try. Their accusations, stupidity and silliness will not trigger a war in Georgia, the second front will not be from here, they will not achieve it, whoever it is, our country does not need a war, whoever may get angry, no matter what claims are made against our country and leaders, it doesn't matter. Saakashvili has a lot of Podolyaks, we warned Poroshenko about that, then he was pulling him with hair, we said the same to Zelensky, it's up to him to decide whether or not to take this into account, we support the people of Ukraine, its territorial integrity, this is important to us. The rest, what these insignificant people say is irrelevant, they are here today, they won't be here tomorrow," Zarkua said.
