Irakli Gharibashvili: I am not interested in speculations, Mikheil Saakashvili is a prisoner and he should serve his sentence in Georgia

According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, the transfer of former President Mikheil Saakashvili abroad for medical treatment is speculation and there is no reason for that.

As Gharibashvili told reporters in response to the relevant question, Saakashvili should serve his sentence in Georgia.

"I really do not care about the groundless statements of looser politicians. I know one thing - everyone should obey the law in this country. Look at how we responded to all those who dared and put themselves above the law, including Melia and prisoner Saakashvili. All the citizens who break the law will be punished in accordance with law. I am not interested in other speculations.

He is a prisoner and he should serve his sentence in Georgia. Statements about his transfer are speculation and there is no reason for that. We call on everyone to take care of our achievements – peace and stability. Let's think about development and construction," Gharibashvili said.
