Irakli Kobakhidze: Davit Arakhamia is in radical opposition in Georgia, while in Ukraine he is in power

Davit Arakhamia is in radical opposition in Georgia, while in Ukraine he is in power - they should search for "Georgian Yanukovych" in the Ukrainian government, Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream party, said in response to Davit Arakhamia's statement calling Bidzina Ivanishvili a Georgian Yanukovych and demanding sanctions against him.

According to Kobakhidze, the Georgian society will learn even more about Arakhamia after the end of the war.

"I remember March 6, when fake was spread about dairy products. On the same day, Davit Arakhamia responded to this fake. Another unclear recording has been spread now too, we do not know whether it is authentic or not, it does not matter, but on the same day, in a few hours, David Arakhamia responded to it. There is one simple reason for this - Davit Arakhamia is in radical opposition in Georgia, while in Ukraine he is in power, and he holds a rather high position. At such times, naturally, there is full coordination between Kyiv - in this case Arakhamia, and Tbilisi - in this case Arakhamia as well. Consequently, the public knows everything about him, however, not really everything, I think when the war is over, they will learn even more, bad things. Today is not the time to delve deeper into this.

This term - Georgian Yanukovych - was voiced and used by Arakhamia. I want to tell him to search for Georgian Yanukovych in his own government, who is still the chairman of the Council for Reforms, Saakashvili, expelled from Georgia for crime and imprisoned criminal is the head of their Reform Council. Accordingly, they should search for Georgian Yanukovych in the Ukrainian government," Kobakhidze said.

According to him, both the audio recording and Arakhamia's statement are a logical continuation of Bakuriani meeting.

For the record, Davit Arakhamia, the chairman of the Servant of the People faction in Rada, the negotiator of the Ukrainian delegation, appeals to the leadership of the European Union and the United States to consider imposing personal sanctions on Ivanishvili and his assets in the West. "Ivanishvili has become Yanukovych of Georgia and he and his friends are pursuing a policy towards Ukraine that is not supported by the Georgian people," Arakhamia said in a statement issued yesterday.
