Georgia reports 62 new cases of coronavirus, no death

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 4,576 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 3,245 antigen tests and 1,331 PCR tests.

 

As a result of the testing, 62 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,654,375.

 

As of April 25, the daily positive rate is 1.35%, for the last 14 days - 1.13% and for 7 days - 1.05%.

 

In the last 24 hours, 104 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,636,108.

 

There have been 0 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,800 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

 

Out of 62 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 27 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 2, Imereti - 13, Kvemo Kartli - 2, Shida Kartli - 1, Guria - 3, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 4, Kakheti - 5, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 1, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 3, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 1.

 

The number of active cases amounts to 1,441.
