Georgia reports 232 new cases of coronavirus, no death

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 20,385 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 18,652 antigen tests and 1,733 PCR tests.

 

Testing revealed 232 new cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 1,653,692.

 

As of April 19, the daily positive rate is 1.14%, for the last 14 days - 1.32% and for 7 days - 1.20%.

 

In the last 24 hours, 117 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,634,591.

 

There were 0 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,794 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

 

Out of 232 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 120 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 13, Imereti - 39, Kvemo Kartli - 7, Shida Kartli - 14, Guria - 10, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 11, Kakheti - 9, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 4, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 5, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 0.

 

The number of active cases amounts to 2,281.
