Georgia reports 392 new cases of coronavirus, 2 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 23,138 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 20,804 antigen tests and 2,334 PCR tests.

 

As a result of the testing, 392 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,651,969.

 

As of April 11, the daily positive rate is 1.69%, for the last 14 days - 1.82% and for 7 days - 1.53%.

 

In the last 24 hours, 131 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,631,846.

 

2 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,779 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

 

Out of 392 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 177 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 20, Imereti - 43, Kvemo Kartli - 17, Shida Kartli - 28, Guria - 31, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 24, Kakheti - 36, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 5, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 3, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 8.

 

The number of active cases amounts to 3,318.
