Georgia reports 107 new cases of coronavirus, 6 death

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within intensive testing, 5,489 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 3,743 antigen tests and 1,746 PCR tests. As a result of the testing, 107 newly confirmed cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,651,577.

 

As for the positive rate, as of April 10, the daily positive rate is 1.95%, for the last 14 days - 1.94% and for 7 days - 1.65%.

 

In the last 24 hours, 281 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of people recovered increased to 1,631,715.

 

6 new deaths from coronavirus have been reported. A total of 16,777 people have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.

 

Out of 107 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 58 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara - 2, Imereti - 12, Kvemo Kartli - 5, Shida Kartli - 4, Guria - 10, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 7, Kakheti - 6, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 1, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 2, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 0.

 

Currently, there are 3,059 active cases of infection in the country.
