Georgia reports 376 new cases of coronavirus, 4 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 24,153 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 22,059 antigen tests and 2,094 PCR tests.

 

As a result of the testing, 376 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,650,384.

 

As of April 5, the daily positive rate is 1.56%, for the last 14 days - 2.43% and for 7 days - 1.98%.

 

In the last 24 hours, 234 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,629,266.

 

4 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,765 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

 

Out of 376 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 174 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 10, Imereti - 38, Kvemo Kartli - 19, Shida Kartli - 44, Guria - 25, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 20, Kakheti - 24, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 7, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 7, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 8.

 

The number of active cases amounts to 4,327.
