From February 24 to March 20, 35,028 citizens of the Russian Federation arrived in Georgia, 20,733 left the country.

 

In the wake of the war in Ukraine, InterPressNews requested statistical information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the entry of Russian citizens into Georgia.

 

“During the mentioned period, 35,028 persons entered Georgia from the Russian Federation, and in 20,733 cases, they have left Georgia. Statistical data is processed at the Information Center of the Information-Analytical Department of the Ministry after the end of each reporting month. Due to the high public interest, we processed the information on the crossing of the state border of Georgia (entry/exit) by the citizens of the Russian Federation. The average statistical error margin is +/- 2.4%", - reads the information provided to InterPressNews by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
