One detained for falsifying medical diploma

Police have detained one individual for falsifying a medical diploma several days ago.

 

Police report that the detainee, who was a director of a vocational education institution, falsified a medical diploma and gave it to another person in exchange for 950 GEL ($322/€290).

 

The detainee faces from two to four years in jail.

 

On July 30, Georgian police detained one individual for falsifying tax documents in the region of Kvemo Kartli.

 

Police report that the detainee falsified a VAT (value added tax) invoice and bill of sale to show that he supplied materials worth 96,000 GEL ($30,664/€27,533) to several companies.
