UK Defence Ministry: Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Mariupol remain in Ukrainian hands

Despite heavy Russian shelling, the cities of Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Mariupol remain in Ukrainian hands, reports the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom.

 

According to them, part of the Russian forces entered the city of Kherson, but the situation there is still unclear.

 

At the same time, the mayor of Kherson Ihor Kolykhaiev wrote on Facebook that the Ukrainian military is no longer in Kherson. "Citizens are being asked to follow the instructions of the gunmen who occupied the city administration," the mayor wrote.
