"The Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia expresses its condolences over the incident that took place in the former sanatorium "Kartli" in Nadzaladevi district. The Ministry extends its condolences to the family members and relatives of Zurab Chichoshvili, an IDP from Abkhazia.
An investigation has been launched into the incident and the cause of death of Zurab Chichoshvili will be determined by the relevant service.

IDP families also have an alternative to wait for the construction of apartments purchased by the agency to be completed. In this case, the agency, together with the administration, offers to provide them with rent.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, the IDPs living in the former sanatorium" Kartli" will receive new housing unconditionally in 2022," the statement reads.
