Mikheil Saakashvili: Extraordinary elections will be held or those who want to wait for three years must accept that Georgia will no longer exist

13.01.22 15:00

"Extraordinary elections will be held or those who want to wait for three years must accept that Georgia will no longer exist," the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, said in a speech at the Tbilisi City Court.

As he noted, he arrived in Georgia to fight peacefully against injustice.

"I can bring 10 billion dollars to Georgia. This means at least a salary of 1000 dollars, so that no Georgian has to go abroad, as a taxi driver in Poland for 800 euros, sending home 400 euros, etc. We will do this as soon as there are early elections and there is a new government. Extraordinary elections will be held or those who want to wait for three years must accept that Georgia will no longer exist.

More were coming than leaving when I was the president. 800,000 have gone in the last 10 years, another million people will leave in three years.

Our only way, for which I came to Georgia, is to protest and speak out against injustice everywhere. Peaceful, but very large-scale protests everywhere," Saakashvili said.
